Water stops percolating, roots struggle to grow, and over time, fertile land begins to lose its life. In many paddy fields, what looks like water retention is actually the opposite: compacted soil blocking natural processes, leading to salt build-up and declining soil health. This creates a vicious cycle: compacted soil → heavier machines → even more compaction. So how do we break it?
