Every morning a single milk packet stands at a quiet crossroads. What we do with it decides where it goes next. Because there is no "away". What we throw does not disappear. It finds its way into our soil, into our water and into the food we eat. Change does not always look big. Sometimes it is just ten seconds at the kitchen sink. Rinsing a packet, folding it and returning it. As Vani Murthy, who champions mindful living and responsible waste practices, shows us it is not about doing more. It is about doing things differently and making small choices. When we stop tossing away and start circling back we stop being consumers and start becoming caretakers.
